I believe that one of my responsibilities as a shepherd is to protect the flock. One of the ways that I can do that is by helping to cultivate a love for good, solid Christian books that point us to Jesus and how to follow him. The more we know and understand what it means to follow Jesus, the more we can guard against counterfeits and false gospels.
